Exodus wallet Create a New Wallet

  1. Launch Exodus Wallet on your computer.
  2. On the welcome screen, click "Create Wallet."
  3. Set a strong and unique password for your wallet. Confirm the password to proceed.
  4. You will be prompted to create a backup of your wallet. Write down the 12-word recovery phrase provided. Store this phrase securely, as it is crucial for wallet recovery.
  5. Confirm your recovery phrase to ensure it's correctly recorded. Exodus will then verify your backup.
  6. Your wallet is now created and secured. You can choose to add a PIN for quick access if desired.

Adding Cryptocurrencies

  1. In Exodus Wallet, you'll see a list of supported cryptocurrencies. To add a cryptocurrency to your wallet, click on the "Wallet" section.
  2. Scroll down to find the cryptocurrency you want to add and click on it.
  3. Click the "Receive" button to generate an address for that cryptocurrency. You can use this address to receive funds.

Sending Cryptocurrency

  1. To send cryptocurrency from your Exodus Wallet, click on the "Wallet" section.
  2. Find the cryptocurrency you want to send and click on it.
  3. Click the "Send" button.
  4. Enter the recipient's wallet address, the amount you want to send, and any optional notes or memos.
  5. Review the transaction details carefully, ensuring accuracy.
  6. Click "Send" to initiate the transaction. You may be prompted to enter your wallet password or PIN for security.
