Exodus wallet Create a New Wallet
- Launch Exodus Wallet on your computer.
- On the welcome screen, click "Create Wallet."
- Set a strong and unique password for your wallet. Confirm the password to proceed.
- You will be prompted to create a backup of your wallet. Write down the 12-word recovery phrase provided. Store this phrase securely, as it is crucial for wallet recovery.
- Confirm your recovery phrase to ensure it's correctly recorded. Exodus will then verify your backup.
- Your wallet is now created and secured. You can choose to add a PIN for quick access if desired.
Adding Cryptocurrencies
- In Exodus Wallet, you'll see a list of supported cryptocurrencies. To add a cryptocurrency to your wallet, click on the "Wallet" section.
- Scroll down to find the cryptocurrency you want to add and click on it.
- Click the "Receive" button to generate an address for that cryptocurrency. You can use this address to receive funds.
Sending Cryptocurrency
- To send cryptocurrency from your Exodus Wallet, click on the "Wallet" section.
- Find the cryptocurrency you want to send and click on it.
- Click the "Send" button.
- Enter the recipient's wallet address, the amount you want to send, and any optional notes or memos.
- Review the transaction details carefully, ensuring accuracy.
- Click "Send" to initiate the transaction. You may be prompted to enter your wallet password or PIN for security.
